Per the news item posted this afternoon:

Now is the time to speak out on the proposed standard. Children Now and the Institute for Public Representation will draft comments in response to the proposed principles. As comments are due on June 13th, we will determine a timeline so that interested groups, such as yours, can review and sign on. There will also be an in-person forum at the Federal Trade Commission on May 24, 2011 in Washington, D.C. In addition to this forum, Children Now will also work to schedule meetings with federal policymakers to address this issue.

Children Now  will soon be reaching out for support as part of the FTC’s public comment period. If you are also interested in attending or participating in any of the events mentioned above, please contact Children Now’s Director of National Policy, Jeff McIntyre, at [email protected].

Thank you for your commitment to children’s health!
